Listen to WAMC Interview

Dec 6, 2017 | Uncategorized | 0 comments

A couple of weeks ago, I did an interview on WAMC/Northeast Public Radio (wamc.org) about Empty Seats  with Joe Donahue, one of the country’s premiere book interviewers. Here’s the link: http://wamc.org/post/wanda-fischers-debut-novel

This was a lot of fun for me to be on the other side of the microphone for a change, to be answering questions instead of asking them.

It’s been an amazing ride so far, with this book. I’m scheduling appearances for the book in 2018. So far, I’ll be at the Chatham Bookstore in Chatham, New York, on March 24 and at the Northshire Bookstore in Saratoga Springs on April 13. More to come!

You can purchase the book at several independent bookstores, including The Book House (Albany), the Open Door (Schenectady), Merritt Bookstore (Millbrook, New York), Bennington Bookshop (Bennington, Vermont), Oblong Books and Music (Rhinebeck, New York), Salty Dog in Hudson, and I’m working on more. If your local bookstore is interested, let me know!

On to working on the sequel! No title yet…
